I got surfing around today and found some great sites for the kids as they become computer aware.

Club Penguin a virtual world for kids

The second and ya gotta love this
Handipoints - a site where you the parent create tasks, your child logs on and marks them complete, parents get to review them \ grade them (avoids the cleaned the room by putting all the clothes under the bed scenario) and then rewards are provided so the kids can use them for games published at the site.
Now that is cool!!!
