This was the excert of his apology which contained within has perhaps the smartest comment, his action had nothing to do with Football it was all about injuring someone.

Unfortunately I didn't see anything specific about Ralph and Braidwood, althought Mr. UFC Braidwood can take care of himself and didn't need Gass to watch his back. Gass was wrong to hoof Ralph in the works just like he was wrong to add his late helmet to helmet hit on Burris in the Labour Day rematch.

I admire his intensity, but I really hate his methods.

I'm still dealing with mixed feelings on this one. Granted, RW is a first-class athlete and I'm sure he'll generate some fan interest, but I feel badly for John Avery and for Jeff Johnson...they get to sit around and watch the Rickster do his thing. Avery was all fired up to run this year, and Johnson more than proved that he's not just a special teams guy.

As for the cold weather, I'm not concerned. Ricky has, I think, played in Buffalo during the 'squish the fish' rivalry, so I'm sure he can handle it.
